  • Reading
    • Watch "Main Idea" video
    • Read passage and answer main idea questions (with Mom) (RI.5.2)
    • Read for 15 minutes
  • Writing
    • none
  • Grammar
  • Typing
    • Practice typing for 10 minutes - continue through lessons until your timer goes off. When the timer goes off, finish the lesson you are on and then you can stop.

Do not panic! There is more to do here today than other days, because today is a homeschool day. As we talked about, Luke and Maiya are in school 5 days a week for 6 hours a day. You will be doing extra work at home to make up those 6 hours.  2 hours   - tutoring  30 minutes/day- daily homework 30 minutes for 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) = 2 hours . That is 2 hours (tutoring) + 2 hours (homework) = 4 hours.  That leaves around 2 more hours to do work on Friday .  You have all day to do this. You just must be done by 2:00. Do things in any order you want, leaving things that you need help with until I am at home. Takes breaks to get up and move, ride your scooter, eat lunch, etc. When you finish, you have free time.
