Do not panic!
There is more to do here today than other days, because today is a homeschool day. As we talked about, Luke and Maiya are in school 5 days a week for 6 hours a day. You will be doing extra work at home to make up those 6 hours.
2 hours - tutoring
30 minutes/day- daily homework
30 minutes for 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) = 2 hours.
That is 2 hours (tutoring) + 2 hours (homework) = 4 hours.
That leaves around 2 more hours to do work on Friday.
You have all day to do this. You just must be done by 2:00. Do things in any order you want, leaving things that you need help with until I am at home. Takes breaks to get up and move, ride your scooter, eat lunch, etc. When you finish, you have free time. The things at the bottom of the page are just ideas of things you can do if you get bored.

- OG practice (with Mom)

- Comprehension
- Choose one character from The Get Rich Quick Club - Draw the character on a large piece of paper. Add a lot of details based on what the character looks like in your head when you're reading. There are no wrong answers or wrong ways to do this assignment. You are simply creating a description/drawing of what you envision the character to look like. (RL.4.3)
- Think of at least 3 words that describe the character and write them on an index card.
- Be ready to talk with Mom about why you choose that word to describe them.
- Example: If the character in the story is Luke, one word you could use is "smart." You could say that you choose that word because Luke gets good grades at school and knows a lot of things. Those two thing support me thinking that Luke is "smart."
