  • Go to Modules, and click on Directions for this Week's Assignments
  • Go to assignment #2 and read the instructions about the Discovery Education assignment.
  • Read the articles she tells you to read (I can do this with you)
  • Answer the question she asks you to answer in the Discussions
9:30 Math - You can do this part by yourself. You KNOW how to do this.  (30 minutes)
  • Remember -
    • Area of a triangle = b x h / 2
    • Area of everything else = b x h
  • IXL EE.6 (5th grade) - Smart Score 80
  • IXL S.3 (5th grade) - Smart Score 80 (Under the Geometry Tab - I can help you find it if you don't know where to look)
  • Take the Quiz and save a screenshot to upload to your class
Total work time: 60 minutes/1 hour


Maiya

Math
Language Arts (This means either reading or writing)
  • IXL Language Arts, VOCABULARY FF.1 Context Clues - 10 minutes - set a timer
  • Study Vocabulary 13 - 10 minutes - set a timer
  • Read out loud with EYES 20 minutes
Science 
  • IXL for fossils are T1 - 7 minutes - set a timer
Total Work Time: 60 minutes/1 hour

Do not panic! There is more to do here today than other days, because today is a homeschool day. As we talked about, Luke and Maiya are in school 5 days a week for 6 hours a day. You will be doing extra work at home to make up those 6 hours.  2 hours   - tutoring  30 minutes/day- daily homework 30 minutes for 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) = 2 hours . That is 2 hours (tutoring) + 2 hours (homework) = 4 hours.  That leaves around 2 more hours to do work on Friday .  You have all day to do this. You just must be done by 2:00. Do things in any order you want, leaving things that you need help with until I am at home. Takes breaks to get up and move, ride your scooter, eat lunch, etc. When you finish, you have free time.
