  • Work on school packet for math with Mom

  • Dream Box or Epic Books - work for 30 minutes - set a timer
  • MyOn for 30 minutes
  • Chore for today: Use a wipe to wipe off the stair handrails. Use a different wipe to wipe off door handles on all doors around the house.
Evan
  • Check school canvas email and announcements, check school email
  • On Mrs. Stephens Math Page, Do Area of Rectangles, Parallelogram, and Trapezoids Practice Page 2, Questions 1-6 
    • Reminder: area of a triangle = 1/2b x h and area of another parallelogram = b x h
  • Listen to Mom read a few pages of A Long Way to Chicago. You will then read a few pages out loud to Mom.
  • Imagineering in a Box - I want to do this together. 
  • Chore for today: Vacuum the carpet in the family room. Turn on DeeBot downstairs. 
Luke
  • Check your school email and all Canvas pages. 
  • There will be a ONE-time Remote Learning Check-In. 
  • Only complete this form once. It’s for a one-time notification to us that you are present in Phase 3. 
  • There may be announcements or assignments or discussions to look at and complete. Check Canvas email and all Canvas announcements.If there are things listed for you to do, do them.
  • There should be things you need to do, or message from your teachers. I want to know what your teachers have said today and what plans you have for each class. 
  • Read a book. No naps today.
  • Chore for today: Put your laundry in and also clean your sink/counter and clean out any trash that is under your sink.

Do not panic! There is more to do here today than other days, because today is a homeschool day. As we talked about, Luke and Maiya are in school 5 days a week for 6 hours a day. You will be doing extra work at home to make up those 6 hours.  2 hours   - tutoring  30 minutes/day- daily homework 30 minutes for 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) = 2 hours . That is 2 hours (tutoring) + 2 hours (homework) = 4 hours.  That leaves around 2 more hours to do work on Friday .  You have all day to do this. You just must be done by 2:00. Do things in any order you want, leaving things that you need help with until I am at home. Takes breaks to get up and move, ride your scooter, eat lunch, etc. When you finish, you have free time.
